Product Manager

The Role

As Product Manager, you'll own the development and growth of Lilli's apps and services for carers and families. The role is predominantly direct-to-consumer, with additional responsibility for the front-end experience of our public sector products.

Working closely with the Head of Product, you'll turn our wider product strategy into something families can rely on: easy to understand, simple to get started with, useful day-to-day, and trustworthy enough to support the wellbeing of a loved one.

You'll own the full product cycle — from discovery through to delivery and ongoing improvement — and you'll be expected to bring strong product judgement, back decisions with evidence, and take ownership of whether what you build actually works.

What You'll Do

Own the Family product area within Lilli's wider product strategy, and work with the Head of Product to define how it connects with our public sector offering.

Build a deep understanding of families and carers — their needs, behaviours, motivations, and the reasons they disengage.

Own the customer journey end-to-end: from proposition and onboarding through to regular use, engagement and retention.

Identify and prioritise the problems worth solving, using interviews, observation, product analytics, support feedback and experimentation.

Turn ambiguous customer problems into clear product hypotheses, requirements and measurable outcomes.

Shape solutions in close partnership with Engineering, Data Science and Design, from discovery through delivery.

Make clear prioritisation and scope trade-offs within your product area.

Define success metrics and use data to understand whether what you've built is working.

Run experiments to improve activation, engagement, retention and overall customer experience.

Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Customer Success and Operations to make sure the whole proposition works — not just the software.

Bring customer evidence and product learnings back to the Head of Product and wider business, and challenge assumptions when the evidence points elsewhere.

Requirements

About You

You've owned and grown consumer products, and understand what makes them work: proposition, onboarding, activation, engagement and retention.

You're comfortable using product analytics and customer research to make decisions, not just gather requirements.

You can turn ambiguous customer problems into clear priorities — and clear products.

You've worked closely with engineers, designers and data teams throughout the product lifecycle.

You're comfortable experimenting, learning fast, and changing direction when something isn't working.

You have strong product judgement, and can tell the difference between what customers ask for and the problem they actually need solved.

You care about simple, high-quality customer experiences.

You communicate clearly, and can challenge colleagues and stakeholders constructively.

You measure success by customer and business outcomes — not features shipped.

Experience with design, AI or data-driven products, connected devices, healthcare, or other products where trust is essential — valuable, but not required

Benefits

We are a remote company with flexible working hours and believe that having an inspiring space to work is important.

We don’t have an office so we will provide everything you need to set you up at home

We get together regularly to collaborate, review and plan our progress as well as celebrate our teammates and our successes

We have a team dedicated to ensure we have a solid working culture that is supportive and inclusive

Unlimited Work Away from Home days

A generous 28 days’ annual leave + bank holidays

Health Cash Plan

Electric Car Scheme

Why Mozilla?

Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser, and Pocket, a service for keeping up with the best content online. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we’re shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security and more. And we’re doing this while never losing our focus on our core mission – to make the internet better for people.

The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. This means we aren’t beholden to any shareholders - only to our mission. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms.

About this team and role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Mobile Product Manager with a primary focus on Firefox for iOS, while also contributing across mobile (including Android).

This role is about building a better browser, turning downloads into loyal users, and creating experiences that truly stand out. If you’ve shipped mobile apps, obsess over details that improve everyday use, and love turning user insights into real improvements, this is a great opportunity to drive impact at Firefox.

What you’ll do:

Build a fundamentally better browser experience: fix bugs, refine UI and navigation, improve downloads, menus, performance, and all the small details that make Firefox noticeably better for users who care about privacy, quality and reliability.

Drive strong activation and retention: focus on the new-user journey, quickly hooking people after they install the app, understanding where they drop off, and relentlessly optimizing the funnel through data, testing and iteration.

Deliver differentiating features and experiences that make Firefox stickier for key user groups, the kinds of things others can’t or won’t build.

Work closely with engineers, designers, data science and TPMs to ship high-impact improvements while balancing user needs, technical constraints, privacy and performance goals.

Stay deeply connected to real users: track App Store trends and discussions, test apps hands-on, analyze reviews and analytics, and turn those insights into concrete enhancements for Firefox on iOS and Android.

Monitor app health in App Store Connect and Google Play Console (crashes, ANRs, ratings) and support acquisition/retention efforts through ASO, store listings and growth experiments.

Adapt and optimize Firefox for global markets (Europe, Japan, Asia etc.), keeping cultural differences and local realities like data constraints in mind.

What you'll bring:

Proven Shipping Experience: Hands-on experience launching or managing apps on the iOS App Store and/or Google Play Store, with clear impact on user experience and metrics.

Execution Focus: A strong track record of delivering features and improvements under deadlines through effective collaboration with engineering, design and cross-functional partners.

Mobile & Browser Fluency: Deep understanding of iOS (and ideally Android) ecosystems, app store policies and web browser technologies, with genuine passion for what makes a great browsing experience.

Data-Driven Iteration: Comfort using analytics, funnels, A/B testing and user feedback to improve activation, retention and overall product quality.

User Obsession: Natural habit of studying apps, following trends on platforms like X/Twitter and Reddit, and testing experiences yourself to uncover opportunities.

Global & Growth Mindset: Interest or experience growing products in international markets with sensitivity to local user needs.

Bonus:

Experience with mobile browsers or privacy-focused products.

History of meaningfully scaling an app’s user base.

Currently maintaining your own side project or app on the App Store or Google Play.

What you’ll get:

Generous performance-based bonus plans to all eligible employees - we share in our success as one team

Rich medical, dental, and vision coverage

Generous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting (regardless of whether you contribute)

Quarterly all-company wellness days where everyone takes a pause together

Country specific holidays plus a day off for your birthday

One-time home office stipend

Annual professional development budget

Quarterly well-being stipend

Considerable paid parental leave

Employee referral bonus program

Other benefits (life/AD&D, disability, EAP, etc. - varies by country)

The same principles built into our products are reflected in how our team works: we embrace AI as a core productivity multiplier, with all team members expected to incorporate AI into their daily workflows to drive efficiency, innovation, and impact. Fortune and Fortune Media IP Limited are not affiliated with, and do not endorse products or services of GitLab.

An overview of this role

Credit-based and consumption-based offerings are becoming central to how GitLab monetizes. The systems that meter, rate, and bill that consumption sit underneath all of it. You'll own the backend usage billing pipeline and its product direction while supporting the Monetization Platform and Infrastructure team as it modernizes the foundations underneath it.

When another GitLab team launches a credit-consuming capability, you'll help them make it billable across GitLab.com, self-managed, and GitLab Dedicated. This is a technical, systems-oriented product role: success means building a monetization platform other teams can launch on quickly and correctly, rather than shipping customer-facing UI.

What you’ll do

Own the product direction for metering, aggregation, and rating in GitLab's usage billing pipeline, including the Zuora and CustomersDot integrations that turn usage into invoiced revenue.

Make onboarding a new credit-consuming capability a repeatable process rather than a bespoke project each time.

Partner with product teams on what to instrument, how to meter and price usage across GitLab.com, self-managed, and GitLab Dedicated, and what it takes to be billable on launch day. Stay ahead of their roadmaps so billing doesn't delay launches.

Prioritize pipeline scalability, performance, and reliability as consumption grows, balancing those investments against new capability enablement.

Own billing defect detection and remediation so errors surface before they reach a customer's invoice and billing outcomes remain auditable.

Support the Monetization Platform and Infrastructure team by framing problems, explaining the value of platform investments, and prioritizing them against operational risk.

Define and track measures of billing accuracy, pipeline reliability, cost to serve per capability, and time to monetize so teams can make informed pricing decisions.

What you’ll bring

Experience owning the product direction of consumption- or usage-based billing systems.

Experience with Zuora or a comparable billing and revenue platform, and an understanding of how product and finance systems interact.

Experience with prepaid, commitment, or credit-drawdown pricing models (balances, reservations, overage, expiration) and the edge cases they create in billing and revenue.

Experience launching new products or pricing models while coordinating across engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance and go-to-market teams.

Ability to bring together teams you don't manage around work their launches depend on.

Experience defining problems for platform or backend teams whose users are often other teams.

Clear written communication in an all-remote, asynchronous environment; you'll use issues, epics, and direction pages to lead.

Familiarity with developer tooling, financial audit or revenue recognition, or an engineering background can help, but isn't required.

You use AI tools as part of how you work: prototyping, analysis, spec writing, and investigation.

About the team

In Monetization, we coordinate across engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance and go-to-market on new products and pricing models. Our remote, asynchronous work uses written issues, and epics to keep decisions visible.
