About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER, CORE PLATFORM is responsible for owning and advancing the core features that support both hosts and service providers in the marketplace. This role focuses on improving the scheduling, job completion, verification, and payment processes, transforming real-world challenges into reliable and scalable solutions. The position involves close collaboration with engineering, design, operations, and leadership teams, with accountability centered on delivering impactful outcomes that sustain marketplace health and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for core platform features used by hosts and cleaners
- Conduct continuous discovery with marketplace stakeholders to define problems and hypotheses
- Balance marketplace supply and demand to maintain healthy engagement for all parties
- Design workflows for exceptions such as substitutions, late arrivals, and damage reports with operational feasibility
- Collaborate daily with engineering and design to prioritize and deliver high-quality releases
- Communicate clearly to align stakeholders and leadership around decisions and progress
- Build dashboards and define KPIs to monitor product health
- Partner on API-first platform architecture for scalable integrations
- Incorporate AI-driven solutions to enhance scheduling, quality control, and auditing
- Rapidly prototype AI-assisted concepts to validate before engineering handoff
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of product management experience in two-sided marketplaces or B2B SaaS with multi-sided interactions and subscription models
- Strong product sense based on deep user understanding and problem analysis
- Proficiency leveraging AI throughout product development and planning
- Hands-on experience with customer engagement platforms (e.g., Braze or Iterable) for lifecycle messaging
- Proven success leading platform modernization including tech stack migration and UX redesign for web and mobile
- Data fluency in defining KPIs, instrumentation, and using business intelligence tools
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex technical and operational concepts
