Our platform plays a vital role in facilitating meaningful connections, knowledge sharing, and community building, ensuring that events run smoothly and effectively. We believe that when our platform functions seamlessly, it enables people to connect, learn, and progress; when it doesn’t, those experiences can break down. As an established company with real users and production systems, we are committed to delivering reliable and innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of event organizers and attendees globally. Our team is passionate about building features that are immediately impactful and used by a diverse, international user base. About The Role We are seeking a hands-on full stack engineer to join our remote team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both frontend and backend development, with a focus on Vue 3 and PHP. In this role, you will own features end-to-end, from understanding customer needs to deployment and monitoring, working across frontend, backend, API, and infrastructure systems as required. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance our platform’s stability, performance, and user experience. - Comfort navigating ambiguity, scoping work from unclear inputs, and making tradeoffs
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidents
- Proficiency with Linux command line and SSH for server operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions to non-engineers
Responsibilities

- Write clean, semantic HTML and CSS to optimize browser compatibility and load times
- Debug production UI issues, edge cases, and cross-device inconsistencies to ensure a seamless user experience
- Develop and modify backend services within a frameworkless PHP 8.3 monolith and newer Laravel services
- Work with MySQL-backed systems, maintaining data integrity and security while supporting modernization efforts
- Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to and resolving production incidents promptly
- Manage production server infrastructure, containerized services, and deployment tooling
- Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and observability initiatives across the platform
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and release processes to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability
- Conduct and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members
- Develop and improve automated tests to reduce regressions and increase deployment confidence
- Document technical decisions, system behaviors, and operational procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project priorities and scope
- Communicate effectively about project status, blockers, and technical tradeoffs
- Support team growth through knowledge sharing, pair programming, and mentoring

- Additional compensation options including bonuses and/or equity
- 100% remote work environment with a team of 30 professionals
- Comprehensive health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage
- 401(k) plan with company matching contributions
- Generous paid time off of 20 days annually
- Team offsite events in international locations such as Morocco, Japan, Brazil, and Colombia, fully covered by Sched
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth within a supportive team environment
