Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Project Coordinator, Interconnection Engineering to support distributed generation and renewable energy projects through the critical interconnection phase.

This individual will play a key role in managing projects post-Interconnection Service Agreement (ISA) execution through to pre-construction—acting as the central point of coordination between utilities, engineering teams, development, and accounting.

This is a high-impact role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for tracking project status post-ISA through pre-construction
• Manage and track interconnection applications, agreements, and associated deliverables
• Coordinate and ensure timely submission of interconnection documentation and updates
• Oversee and track utility interconnection milestone payments in collaboration with accounting
• Review utility engineering studies, Interconnection Service Agreements (ISA), Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and EPC contracts for compliance
• Facilitate ISA updates and coordinate changes with internal teams and utility stakeholders
• Lead and coordinate external meetings with utilities and engineering partners
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation for seamless handoff to pre-construction teams
• Provide regular reporting and status updates to development and leadership teams
• Support development and construction teams with technical coordination and occasional site visits
• Coordinate with internal and external engineering resources to support interconnection design and execution

QualificationsEducation:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
• EIT certification or PMP designation preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in distributed generation, renewables, or utility interconnection
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, engineering documents, or utility studies
• Strong understanding of interconnection processes and utility coordination
• Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously
• Familiarity with utility portals such as PowerClerk, Connect the Grid, or similar platforms
