We specialize in professional IT consulting services, IT Staffing, Business/IT Strategy, Business Process Blueprints, Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Transformation.Role: Sr. Project ManagerLocation: Washington, DC (100% Remote)Job Type: ContractJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, high-impact projects across systems, processes, and business initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring business needs are effectively translated into actionable project plans and delivered successfully. The Project Manager serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving execution, governance, and timely delivery while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management activities including planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to organize, prioritize, and schedule project activities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and project status reviews to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and proactively implement mitigation and resolution strategies.
  • Track and manage open issues, ensuring timely resolution and proper escalation when needed.
  • Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including planning, execution, defect tracking, validation, and release readiness.
  • Ensure effective communication through formal project updates, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope and budget.
  • Support development sessions and design reviews to ensure solutions align with business and project objectives.
  • Lead documentation efforts ensuring all project artifacts meet organizational standards and are clearly structured.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members and junior resources.
  • Manage project lifecycle from concept through implementation, including prioritization of new work requests.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, business analysis, systems analysis, or related roles.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager OR experience as a Team Lead managing large-scale projects and budgets.
  • Strong experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving systems, processes, and software solutions.
  • Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, risk management, issue tracking, and delivery execution.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage dependencies and drive resolution.
  • Proactive, self-driven professional with strong ownership and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (MBA or related field).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions on time.
  • Prior experience mentoring, coaching, or leading team members.
  • Experience working on AI-driven products or initiatives is a plus.
  • Healthcare domain experience is highly preferred.
