About the Opportunity:
This team is focused on delivering productivity solutions to commercial customers through a comprehensive suite of vehicles, charging infrastructure, software, and services tailored to fleet and business needs. The technology group powers the digital backbone enabling smarter fleet management and customer engagement through platforms like Salesforce CRM.
The Salesforce Software Engineering Director is a senior technical leadership role responsible for guiding the architecture, integration, and delivery of Salesforce CRM solutions across the product ecosystem. This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce and MuleSoft and a servant leadership approach to foster collaboration, drive platform consistency, and ensure strategic alignment across product groups.
Responsibilities:
• Architect scalable, secure, and performant Salesforce CRM solutions aligned with Salesforce.com Standard Practices and Common Engineering Policies including API standards, logging norms, and release management
• Lead MuleSoft integration strategies to connect Salesforce with internal and external systems
• Drive Agile product development practices using JIRA to manage backlog, sprints, releases, and retrospectives
• Validate and refine target state architectures through usability testing, performance/load testing, and continuous improvement
• Act as a consensus builder across product groups
• Facilitate alignment on technical decisions, team allocations, and product lifecycle transitions
• Promote transparency and shared accountability using progress reporting tools and OKRs
• Champion Community of Practice principles to ensure consistency in engineering and product management practices
• Support financial and headcount forecasting through collaborative internal processes and related tools
• Align product investments with strategic priorities and ensure efficient resource allocation
• Participate in Tech Council reviews for budget approvals and product lifecycle decisions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise CRM platforms, with at least 7 years in Salesforce architecture and development covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud
• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including API design, RAML, connectors, and orchestration
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and versioning
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management; Copado preferred
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring standards aligned with Common Engineering Policies
• Expertise in cloud architecture validation and performance/load testing
• Knowledge of usability testing and persona-driven design
• Experience with Git-based source control and repository management
• Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and Miro
• Fluency in the Salesforce Well-Architected Framework
• Cloud platform expertise including Google Cloud Platform or similar for hybrid and scalable integrations
• 3+ years of experience with MuleSoft integration and API-led connectivity
• Proven leadership of cross-functional technical teams in Agile environments
• Strong understanding of financial acquisition and resource planning processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build consensus across diverse teams

• Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
• Other Salesforce Designer Certifications
• MuleSoft Certified Associate
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent public cloud certifications
