About Us

Nolo Apps designs and builds Airtable applications that streamline ecommerce and retail operations, from product data and development to purchasing, shipments, and everyday workflows.

Our work spans two connected areas:

  • Delivery: hands-on client projects and tailored builds
  • Product: configurable templates that form the foundation for delivery

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Delivery team and help bring structure, momentum, and clarity to client projects as we grow.

About the RoleLuxury fashion brand launches 40 SKUs a month. Their production tracking? A shared Excel file and prayer.Streetwear label hits £10M revenue. Their purchasing system? Email chains and post-it notes.

This is where we come in.

Nolo Apps builds operational systems for product brands moving too fast for spreadsheets but too creative for enterprise bloat. We turn chaos into clarity using Airtable - and we need a Project Manager who can orchestrate delivery.

Your Mission

You're the delivery engine for 2-4 live transformation projects at once. One brand might be building its first proper product development workflow. Another automating their entire sample approval process. A third is connecting purchasing to live inventory numbers.

Your job? Develop quality plans and manage timelines effectively. Own client communication. Carry the mental load of delivery so Solution Architects can design and Developers can build without distraction. You will implement the kind of structure that allows the team to do their best work, creating insanely effective apps and automations for brands on a mission.

A typical day might include:

  • Sequencing sprint work so devs can lock in without context-switching
  • Running a client check-in that keeps everyone aligned on the project (so the architects don't have to)
  • Spotting a resourcing gap before it becomes a crisis, and finding a solution
  • Managing expectations when the proposed scope meets the deliverable reality
  • Creating the project clarity that lets a Solution Architect focus on genuine problem-solving

What we're after:

Someone who brings structure that liberates, not stifles

A shield between brilliant technical work and delivery noise

A person who spots risks early and deals with them

Someone organised enough to juggle multiple transformations without dropping any balls

The path forward: Success here means Solution Architects who have space to think, developers who ship without interruption, and clients who feel completely looked after.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you’ll guide projects from scoping to go-live, keeping teams aligned and clients informed. You’ll turn goals into clear plans, manage risks early, and ensure projects run predictably. You’ll act as the connector between client needs and technical delivery, helping us build reliable and repeatable ways of working.

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead projects end-to-end, building clear plans and keeping scope, risks, and timelines visible
  • Support sprint planning and retros
  • Keep work moving smoothly, unblocking issues early
  • Work closely with Client Success, Solution Architects, and Developers to ensure alignment

Client Management & Communication

  • Act as the main delivery contact for assigned clients
  • Run check-ins and updates with clarity and confidence
  • Translate client feedback into actionable next steps
  • Maintain transparency around progress, decisions, and timelines

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align with Solution Architects on feasibility and sequencing
  • Partner with Developers to define sprints and priorities
  • Work with Client Solutions Consultants on scope, trade-offs, and timelines
  • Contribute to improving our delivery practices

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the evolution of delivery frameworks and documentation
  • Suggest improvements to tracking, reporting, and collaboration
  • Help shape scalable processes as Nolo grows

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds; if the role excites you, please apply even if you don’t meet every requirement.

Soft Skills (Must-Haves)

  • Strong communication and listening
  • Collaborative and supportive approach
  • Ownership, follow-through, and problem-solving
  • Ability to bring structure and calm to moving parts

Hard Skills (Must-Haves)

  • Project planning and organisation
  • Risk and dependency management
  • Presenting and stakeholder management
  • Detail-oriented with strong delivery discipline

Helpful Experience

  • Slack, Airtable, or workflow automation familiarity
  • AgilePM or similar qualification (PRINCE2/PMP a bonus)
  • 5+ years in project, programme, or product management
  • Experience running multiple concurrent projects and working directly with clients
  • Background coordinating multi-disciplinary teams

A Day in the Life

  • Planning and sequencing project work
  • Managing timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Supporting the team with clear priorities
  • Tracking actions and outcomes across several clients
  • Contributing to ways of working improvements

Success Looks Like

  • Confident, informed clients who return and refer
  • Predictable delivery and smooth collaboration
  • Clear communication loops across teams
  • Solutions that meaningfully solve client problems

How We Work

  • Manage 2–4 project cycles across multiple clients
  • Work includes both multi-sprint transformations and focused customisations
  • No sales responsibilities; full focus on delivery
  • Supportive co-founders and team culture
  • Remote-first with quarterly meetups

Our Commitment to DEI&B

Nolo is committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and ensure every candidate is treated with fairness, respect, and openness.
