Software Developer

An employer is seeking a skilled professional for a contract position focused on mobile application development.

The Role

• Develop and ship mobile applications using React Native
• Build and maintain apps with Expo
• Implement robust TypeScript solutions for data models, API contracts, and application state
• Create offline-capable mobile applications
  
  

What You'll Need

• Experience in mobile development with React Native
• Hands-on experience with Expo
• Strong TypeScript skills
• Proven experience building offline-first mobile apps
• Experience with on-device databases (e.g., expo-sqlite, WatermelonDB, Realm, MMKV)
• Familiarity with request queuing, retry logic, and background sync
• Understanding of data sync challenges and conflict resolution strategies
• Experience with data-fetching and state management tools (e.g., TanStack Query, Redux Toolkit, Zustand)
• Experience publishing apps to App Store and Google Play
