Role Description

As Associate Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in scaling Halo’s installer onboarding and customer service operations. You’ll design and implement processes that enable rapid growth without sacrificing quality, ethics, or customer satisfaction. This is a unique opportunity for someone with deep experience in residential solar finance and installer network management to shape the future of clean energy finance.

You will work cross-functionally with our operations, technology, and risk teams to streamline workflows, leverage automation, and ensure that both our installation partners and borrowers receive best-in-class support. Your leadership will be key in maintaining Halo’s high standards for installer integrity and customer experience as we expand our reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable installer onboarding processes that ensure high standards of ethics, quality, and compliance.
  • Identify, recruit, and evaluate new installer partners, with a focus on integrity and long-term success.
  • Develop and manage installer performance frameworks, including scorecards, QA/QC requirements, and compliance monitoring.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for installer partners, resolving escalations, supporting operational troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Champion a customer-first approach by developing and overseeing customer service workflows that deliver 100% satisfaction, even as the business scales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including operations, risk, product, and technology—to streamline processes and implement automation where possible.
  • Lead post-sale support efforts, ensuring both installers and borrowers receive timely, high-quality assistance.
  • Monitor industry trends and proactively attract reputable installers seeking new financing partners.
  • Foster a culture of ethics, transparency, and accountability among internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated impact in scaling installer networks and customer service operations within residential solar finance.
  • Proven track record of evaluating, onboarding, and managing high-quality, ethical installer partners.
  • Experience designing and implementing operational processes that balance growth with efficiency and compliance.
  • Expertise in QA/QC collaboration, escalation management, and partner compliance.
  • Ability to drive process improvements and leverage technology to reduce manual work and overhead.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with CRM, AI, and workflow tools (e.g., Salesforce, Perplexity, Claude, Google Workspace) is strongly preferred.
  • Start-up agility and a self-motivated, curiosity-driven approach to problem solving.
  • History of ethical behavior and a passion for elevating standards in the solar industry.
