eDiscovery Project Manager (Cyber Incident Response)
When data is exfiltrated in a cyber incident, someone has to work out whose information was in it. That is this role. You'll be the first person the client speaks to when an engagement starts, and you'll own the data mining that identifies which individuals' personal identifying information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) were compromised.
What you'll do:
- Act as the client's first point of contact from the start of every engagement, leading kick-off calls and giving consultative advice on cyber incident response
- Coordinate the transfer of data between external parties and the business
- Run project design meetings and build the workflows used for data mining and capture following data exfiltration
- Advise clients on the data identification and reduction methodology that fits the incident
- Perform the data mining and report detailed, accurate results back to the client
- Coordinate case closure and data destruction once an engagement completes
What you'll need:
Essential:
- At least 3 years in eDiscovery project management, or equivalent
- At least 3 years working hands-on in Relativity as a project manager
- Working knowledge of media collections, processing, hosting, review support, and productions
- Knowledge of the eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM)
- Strong written and verbal communication, including leading calls and meetings with clients and colleagues
- Able to manage an active caseload that fluctuates week to week
Nice to have:
- Experience with Canopy, or other advanced eDiscovery and cyber tooling such as technology assisted review (TAR)
- Previous cyber incident response experience
