Job Description
Posted on: July 9, 2026
Product Manager / Evangelist — Allwis
Location: Remote — availability during Asia-Pacific business hours required
Start: ASAP
Salary: AU$90–130K + equity (depending on experience)
What We're Building
Service businesses — accounting firms, professional services, private equity platforms, family offices, field services — run on a patchwork of disconnected SaaS tools. One for CRM, one for accounting, one for jobs and timesheets, one for proposals, one for payroll. Every tool has its own login, its own data model, its own bill. The business owner is the integration layer, holding it together with spreadsheets and copy-paste.
Allwis collapses that stack into one platform: sales, marketing, jobs, timesheets, proposals, finance, payroll and support on a single data layer. Multi-entity and multi-currency from the ground up — one ledger across every entity, no month-end spreadsheet stitching. Local jurisdiction compliance rules built in from day one, so you're compliant as you grow, not scrambling to retrofit it later.
And because everything lives on one record, the AI actually works. It reads bills, flags anomalies, audits commissions, scores deals — with context across the whole business, not just the screen you're on. Our rule is non-negotiable: AI suggests, flags and drafts; a human decides. And we're not locked to one AI vendor — Allwis routes each task to whichever model does it best, including local models where your data never leaves your environment.
The product is in invite-only preview. We're recruiting design partners — a small group of businesses building this with us — starting in Australia and New Zealand, with early conversations underway in the UK, US and Europe. That's where you come in.
The Role
You'll be the voice of Allwis in the market and the ears of the market inside Allwis:
- Positioning & messaging — Translate "one record, multi-entity, AI-native" into language that lands with practice partners, CFOs, fund managers and operations leaders. Build case studies from design-partner wins. Shape the competitive narrative without punching down at incumbents.
- Content & video — Short-form product intros (60–90 seconds, Loom/CapCut): "One ledger across every entity." "Proposal to payroll on one record." "How AI audits commissions before anyone gets paid." Keynote clips. Native LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.
- Customer feedback loop — Weekly design-partner conversations. Turn what you hear into roadmap input for the dev team and stories for the market.
- Social & community — Own the LinkedIn cadence (2–3 posts/week), reply to comments, engage credibly in the accounting-tech and SaaS-operations conversation.
- PR — Milestone announcements, pitches to finance and tech journalists, analyst briefings as we grow.
This is not a head-of-marketing role and there's no demand-gen funnel to babysit. You're amplifying a credibility-first go-to-market.
Who You Are
Non-negotiable: solid practical accounting or senior finance experience. You've worked as an accountant, in a finance leadership role, or deep inside a practice, family office, or fund operations team — long enough to have lived the multi-entity consolidation pain, the month-end grind, the tool sprawl. We're selling to accountants and finance leaders. They smell bullshit in thirty seconds, and so should you.
You also bring:
- 2–4 years in B2B SaaS product marketing, developer relations, or technical community building
- Strong writing — you make technical things clear without dumbing them down
- Comfort on camera and speed with video — Loom today, CapCut by next week
- Familiarity with the most commonly used SaaS tools in accounting, CRM, HR and field services
- Reliable availability during Asia-Pacific business hours — our core design-partner base is in AU & NZ
Who You're Not
- A pure marketer whose background is ad spend and lead scoring
- Someone who needs a playbook — you'll write this one
- Someone who's never closed a ledger or explained a consolidation adjustment
Why Now
You'd be joining a super motivated, close-knit team building a genuinely new product concept — and working directly with a founding team of experienced SaaS veterans with major exits behind them. The product is in invite-only preview — this is not a "join us and wait for the build" role. Your job is to make sure the businesses who feel this pain find out we exist — at home first, and then in every market we enter.
How to Apply
Folllow LinkedIn process (please no emails)
- A 2–3 minute video: pick any pain of running a multi-entity service business on disconnected tools, and explain it the way you'd explain it to a peer. No script, no slides — we want to hear how you think and talk.
- A short note on your accounting/finance background and why this role landed with you.
We move fast. If you're right for this, we'll talk this week.
