About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Frontend Engineer to join our globally distributed team at Zenus AI. You will collaborate closely with our experienced engineering team to enhance existing functionality and develop new capabilities across our client-facing and internal applications, serving a global client base, transforming complex AI insights into actionable business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and extend existing frontend features
• Build internal tools supporting operations, analytics and product teams
• Integrate REST APIs data into polished, responsive user  interfaces
• Collaborate with designers and  backend engineers
• Contribute to performance, usability and accessibility improvements
• Participate in discussions around architecture and technical direction
• Assist with remote sensor-setup support for our events in EMEA / APAC

Basic Qualifications

• Strong understanding of core web fundamentals
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git/Github workflows
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Typescript
• Basic knowledge of databases
• Exposure to backend development
• Familiarity with UI frameworks (Vuetify)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Compensation Range: €20K - €30K

Interview Process1. Technical screening — 1 hour, synchronous, remote

A conversational interview with our engineering team to explore your technical journey and core frontend skills. We'll discuss your background, projects and understanding of frontend fundamentals.

Note: Any portfolio or past work samples must be submitted in advance.

2. Technical assessment — 3-4 hours, asynchronous, take-home

Deliverables: GitHub link, brief README with setup/run steps and key design decisions.

Note: This assessment is conditional — candidates with a strong portfolio or relevant prior work may be invited to skip it after review of submitted materials.

3. Problem solving evaluation — 1.5 - 2 hours, synchronous, remote

Timed arithmetic problems to evaluate attention to detail and accuracy, plus short scenario-based questions to assess practical judgement and everyday collaboration choices.

4. Offer discussion — 1 hour, remote

Typical timeline from application to offer: 1–3 weeks.
