Frontend Developer

Front-End Software Developer | JavaScript | React / Vue | Remote UK | £50k–£55k

We’re hiring a Front-End Software Developer to join a global technology team building digital platforms used by nonprofit organisations worldwide.

This role is ideal for a JavaScript developer with strong HTML, CSS and modern front-end framework experience who wants to build scalable web applications used by millions of users.

You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop new features and deliver engaging user experiences across a large-scale SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern front-end web applications
• Develop responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Work with frameworks such as React or Vue
• Integrate UI components with REST APIs
• Translate product designs and mock-ups into functional web interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable and secure code
• Work in an Agile development team delivering high-quality releases

Required Skills

• 3+ years experience as a Front-End Developer / JavaScript Developer
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React or Vue.js
• Experience with NPM, Webpack or Vite
• Experience consuming REST APIs
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and UI development

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vue.js
• Familiarity with legacy frameworks such as Backbone
• Experience working on high-traffic SaaS platforms
