Are you a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer who wants to build real AI products rather than just experiment with models?

This role gives you the opportunity to shape an organisation’s machine learning platform and AI strategy from the ground up.

You'll work on predictive modelling, generative AI and cloud ML infrastructure, building systems that analyse large behavioural datasets and power intelligent decision-making.

What You'll Work On

You’ll play a key role in designing and building the company’s AI capabilities.

Projects include:

• Building a Python-based machine learning platform
• Creating predictive models such as churn prediction and supporter propensity scoring
• Designing scalable ML infrastructure in AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, S3)
• Developing LLM-powered applications
• Implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows
• Building pipelines that integrate data from APIs and large datasets

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll work across the full ML lifecycle — from data preparation and model training to deployment and optimisation.

What We're Looking For

You’ll likely have:

• 2+ years experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience building machine learning models with scikit-learn
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience working with AWS or cloud ML environments
• Strong data engineering and SQL skills

Bonus points for:

• Experience with LLMs or generative AI
• Knowledge of LangChain
• Experience implementing RAG architectures
