We're working with a high-growth SaaS platform specialising in high-volume transaction systems on this exciting opportunity. This is a rare chance for a Back-End specialist to take ownership of scalable platform features used by globally recognised brands.

You will be joining a fast-moving, remote-first engineering team, leveraging modern Java and Kotlin environments to build robust, high-availability software. The Role

• Lead the design and delivery of high-performance back-end applications using Java or Kotlin within a Spring Boot ecosystem.

• Drive the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from initial architecture and feature design to QA support and final release.

• Collaborate with cross-functional delivery and account teams to translate complex business requirements into elegant, scalable technical solutions.

• Enhance existing platform capabilities, focusing on building maintainable, high-quality code that supports massive transaction volumes.

• Work within a modern DevOps environment, potentially involving Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes deployment strategies.

What You'll Need

• Deep commercial expertise in Back-End Software Engineering with a focus on Java or Kotlin development.

• Extensive hands-on experience building enterprise-scale applications using the Spring Boot framework.

• Proven track record of designing and maintaining scalable systems, ideally within transaction-heavy or billing-led environments.

• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote, distributed team setup.

• Familiarity with modern data and messaging tools such as MongoDB, NoSQL, RabbitMQ, or Kafka is highly desirable.
