Freelance Application Developer – Remote

This role involves building a robust, no-code QR-based attendance system tailored for sports academies. The system will manage both coach and kid attendance, supporting real-time check-in and check-out processes. A user-friendly admin dashboard is required for monitoring attendance records and calculating session durations. The solution must incorporate anti-fraud measures, such as preventing duplicate scans and ensuring correct check-in/check-out logic. Automated daily and weekly reporting, as well as easy printing of QR codes and supporting materials, are essential. The project will be piloted across three centres, so reliability, clarity, and ease of use are critical. The preferred tech stack is flexible, with options including Airtable with Glide/Softr/Stacker, Bubble with APIs, Make.com or Zapier, Google Sheets with Apps Script, or Firebase via no-code connectors. • End-to-end QR scan flow for check-in and check-out
• Admin dashboard for attendance monitoring and duration calculation

• Demo video walkthrough of the system

Requirements

• Proven experience with no-code platforms (e.g., Airtable, Glide, Softr, Stacker, Bubble, Make.com, Zapier, Google Sheets, Firebase via no-code connectors)
• Strong understanding of workflow automation and dashboard creation
• Ability to implement anti-fraud logic and reliable check-in/check-out flows
• Experience generating automated reports and print-ready materials
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on reliability and user experience
• Availability for a part-time, contract-based engagement
• Ability to provide concise documentation and demo materials
• Prior experience with sports, education, or attendance systems is a plus
