Manager – Technical Services | Power Systems Protection & Automation
Location: Remote option available | Travel up to 25% within the U.S. & internationally
Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Technical Services with a strong background in electric power system protection, numerical relays, recorders, integration, and automation.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in protective relaying and power systems, along with proven experience leading and developing technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Technical Services team and departmental workflow
• Provide technical leadership in power system protection, automation, integration, relays, and recorders
• Support customers with technical problem-solving and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Provide technical support to the Sales team and potential customers
• Lead difficult technical/customer discussions while protecting company interests
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of electric power system protection and automation
• Support application, integration, and communication architecture for protection systems
• Work with utility and engineering/consulting customers on technical requirements and solutions
• Travel up to 25% within the U.S. and internationally as required
Required Qualifications
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory
• 10+ years of experience working with numerical relays and recorders
• Proven experience leading and developing technical teams
• Strong knowledge of electric power systems, protection, and industry practices
• Experience with protective relay applications in utility or engineering environments
• Experience with EMTP, load flow, and short-circuit studies
• Expert knowledge of system protection, integration, and automation applications
• Knowledge of advanced communication protocols and communication system architecture
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and customer-facing communication skills
• Strong people-management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Background
Experience with utility companies, engineering firms, consulting organizations, relay manufacturers, or power system protection companies is highly desirable.
