Timpi is building the world’s first decentralised search engine powered by a global network of independent nodes. Our mission is to restore privacy, transparency, and control to the online search experience, free from corporate surveillance, bias, and manipulation.
Position Overview
As we move closer to public launch, we're looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to help tell our story. This is a part-time, senior-level role designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can work independently, and knows how to craft narratives that cut through noise.

· Plan and manage the owned content roadmap – briefing internal and external copywriters and ensuring ontime delivery
· Strategise, test and launch content distribution that gets our owned content seen by the right audiences
· Work within our email CRM to craft comms that help drive outcomes for the business
Social Media & Organic Growth
· Own and execute Timpi’s organic social strategy across X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Blusky and mainstream social platforms
· Develop and manage our content calendar, balancing announcements, thought leadership, and engagement
· Brief and manage junior team members to help produce visual content assets
· Manage our SaaS stack across social monitoring and audience data
· Actively participate in conversations and community threads that align with our mission
Campaign & Content Coordination
· Collaborate on go-to-market campaigns for product launches, waitlist activations, and community drops
· Assist with marketing planning and execution, helping shape positioning and messaging
· Coordinate with design and content freelancers as needed
Community Listening & Reporting
· Monitor sentiment, mentions, and emerging trends in the search engine and SaaS landscape
· Share insights and performance learnings to refine future messaging and content
Who Are You & Where Are You
· Min 6+ years experience in a comms, PR, or marketing role, ideally in SaaS, search, martech, or digital centric businesses
· A strong writer with a sharp editorial sense, you know how to craft a hook, not just fill space
· You’ve secured media coverage, written copy that converts, and grown organic audiences
· A curious mind who can confidently explore topics like privacy, surveillance, and the search economy
· Comfortable working remotely, managing your own time, and wearing multiple hats
· Happy to own the execution day-to-day but also contribute to strategy and planning
This role would be ideal parent returning to work and seeking work/family life flexibility.
