Baer is looking for Program Manager for a 3+ month remote project.Title: Program Manager

Location: Remote (Must be based in US)

Duration: 3 months

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Alignment: W2 or C2C

Job Summary

Own execution discipline for a complex, five-workstream, multi-party engagement with a fixed 12-month timeline. Responsible for keeping schedules, handoffs, deliverables, and communications aligned so work progresses smoothly without delays. Focus is operational coordination — not strategy or technical decisions.

Description

• Run all program cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly meetings) including agendas, materials, notes, and action tracking
• Maintain master deliverable tracker across workstreams, parties, and milestones
• Monitor cross-team dependencies and proactively escalate risks or delays
• Manage risk/issue log, decision register, and status reporting for executives
• Produce weekly leadership updates and support executive briefings and QBRs
• Coordinate logistics, data collection, and follow-ups for reviews
• Track effort vs. plan and flag variances early

Requirements

• 5+ years program/project management experience (tech, consulting, or enterprise environments)
• Proven success managing multi-stakeholder, deadline-driven initiatives
• Strong tracking, dependency management, and escalation skills
• Excellent written communication and executive-ready reporting
• Proficiency with PM tools (Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, etc.)
• PMP/PgMP (or equivalent) Preferred
• Experience in PE-backed, M&A, or hard-deadline programs Preferred
• Familiarity with AI/ML program structures Preferred
• Background supporting governance or GRC initiatives Preferred
