Skills - Primary
• Proficiency in Python for backend development, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture.
• Practical experience using AI powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, or equivalent tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, automated testing, and documentation.

• Experience with Go (Golang) development
Job Description
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python and AWS services.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering adoption to improve coding efficiency, testing, debugging, and code quality.
• Oversee application architecture, code reviews, security, performance, and engineering best practices.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployments, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Identify technical risks and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes
• Experience with Go (Golang) is an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Review solution designs and provide technical recommendations to ensure scalable, maintainable, and robust implementations.
• Assign technical responsibilities, monitor team performance, and guide engineers in resolving complex technical challenges
• Oversee delivery milestones, resource utilization, and technical dependencies to ensure predictable and timely delivery.
• Facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders to align priorities, manage expectations, and resolve escalations.
• Ensure adherence to security requirements, coding standards, and organizational engineering best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive improvements in development processes, engineering practices, and team productivity.
• Identify and monitor delivery risks, drive mitigation measures, and ensure production readiness and operational stability.
• To adhere to ISMS Policies and procedures.
