About the Opportunity:
The PRODUCT OWNER (SALESFORCE) is responsible for maximizing the value of assigned technical products that support enterprise operations. This role owns the product vision, backlog, and delivery outcomes, serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The position ensures that product development aligns with business outcomes, regulatory compliance, and enterprise strategy throughout the full product lifecycle, from inception through retirement.
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with enterprise strategy and outcomes.
- Prioritize work continuously based on business impact, regulatory needs, risk, and dependencies.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for product decisions, tradeoffs, and acceptance.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle including enhancements and modernization efforts.
- Create and maintain a prioritized backlog with clear epics, features, and user stories.
- Lead backlog refinement and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Accept or reject completed work based on acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs and constraints.
- Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain current and audit-ready product documentation and artifacts.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks.
- Monitor product performance and use data to inform backlog priorities.
- Support enterprise goals for standardization and complexity reduction.
- Manage competing priorities within defined scope and escalate as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in product ownership, management, business analysis, or technical delivery.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Experience supporting technical products such as enterprise platforms, data solutions, or integrations.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile principles.
- Proven ability to write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience prioritizing work in complex, regulated environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Product Owner or Product Manager certification preferred.
- Experience with enterprise platforms, APIs, integrations, or configuration-heavy systems.
- Background in healthcare, financial services, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Agile tooling such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
- Experience with Salesforce.
