Role: Senior Full Stack Engineer (Technical Lead)

Company: SympliCare AI LTD

Location: Remote

Type: Equity-Based (Pre-Funding Stage)About SympliCare AI:

SympliCare AI is an early-stage healthcare startup focused on building simple, practical systems to support care home operations. Through direct conversations with care home professionals, we’ve identified a clear gap — existing systems often add complexity instead of reducing it.

We are building a platform designed around real workflows, not assumptions. This is not about building another software product. This is about building something that actually works in real-world care environments.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Founding Senior Full Stack Engineer (Technical Lead) who wants to be part of building something meaningful from the ground up. This is not a typical developer role.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Shape the product from day one
  • Work directly with the founder and industry experts
  • Influence architecture, product direction, and execution
  • Build a system that solves real-world problems

If you are someone who prefers ownership over routine, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the technical development of the platform (frontend + backend)
  • Define system architecture with a focus on simplicity and scalability
  • Work closely with care home advisors to translate real-world needs into product features
  • Guide and support the development team
  • Build a clean, usable, and efficient system — not a complex one
  • Drive the creation of an early demo for pilot and investor discussions
  • Contribute to product decisions, not just code

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience in full stack development (React / Node / similar stack)
  • Experience building real-world products or SaaS platforms
  • Ability to think in systems, not just features
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to lead and guide developers
  • Comfort working in early-stage, fast-moving environments
  • Someone who values simplicity over unnecessary complexity

What Makes This Different

  • You will not be handed tasks — you will help define them
  • You will not just write code — you will shape the product
  • You will not work in isolation — you will collaborate with domain experts
  • You will build something from zero, not maintain something existing

Compensation & Structure

This is currently an equity-based role, as we are in a pre-funding stage.

However:

  • This role is intended to transition into a paid position + equity once funding is secured or revenue begins
  • Compensation will be aligned with contribution, role scope, and business growth
  • Early contributors will be prioritised for long-term roles

Long-Term Vision

We are building with a long-term vision, including expansion into international markets such as the USA and Europe.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company — not just contribute short term.

Why Join Now

At this stage, every decision matters. Every line of code shapes the future of the product.

If you’re looking for:

  • Ownership
  • Impact
  • A real problem to solve
  • A chance to build something from the ground up

Then this is the right time to join.
