Lead Full Stack Developer (Node.js + React).

For one of our clients based in Europe, we are currently looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer (Node.js + React).Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Contract duration: 6 months with extension
• Remote work with occasional on-site team sessions in UK/LV

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested software
• Write clean production code using TDD and automated testing practices
• Review code and contribute to engineering best practices
• Integrate applications with monitoring and support tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including incident support when required
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery
• Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous improvement

Skills:

• 6+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Strong understanding of web architecture and modern development practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and development toolchains
• Strong testing and quality assurance mindset (TDD preferred)
• Experience with AWS and CodeBuild pipelines
• Agile experience and strong collaboration skills
• Fluent English

Nice to Have:

• Database design and data pipeline experience
• DevOps and production deployment experience
• Understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, security, monitoring)
• Strong ownership mindset
