The Role
As Sharon AI continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Product Manager – Managed Platforms to join our Product team and lead the development of managed platform and AI cloud products that make accelerated computing easier for customers to access and use, reporting to our Lead Product Manager.
In this role, you'll own the roadmap for managed Kubernetes, managed Slurm, orchestration and cloud consumption capabilities across shared, dedicated, enterprise and sovereign AI cloud offerings. You'll collaborate with specialist teams across Sharon AI and help shape the infrastructure powering the next generation of AI.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Own the product vision, roadmap, requirements and lifecycle for managed platforms and AI cloud services.
• Define managed Kubernetes, managed Slurm and cluster orchestration capabilities.
• Shape provisioning, upgrades, scaling, automation, APIs and customer self-service.
• Define multi-tenancy, identity federation, RBAC, isolation and platform security requirements.
• Develop service tiers, quotas, reservations, metering and billing integration requirements.
• Partner with Infrastructure Services to bring GPU compute, storage and networking into cloud offerings.
• Work with Engineering and Operations on observability, reliability, release readiness and lifecycle management.
• Build commercial packaging, consumption models and product success metrics with Sales and Finance.
• Use customer feedback and operational data to continuously improve platform usability and adoption.
What We’re Looking For
• 5–8+ years of relevant technology experience with substantial technical product management exposure.
• Experience delivering cloud-native platforms, managed Kubernetes or developer-facing cloud products.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, APIs, containerisation, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience developing roadmaps, business cases, technical requirements and success measures.
• Understanding of cloud commercialisation, service packaging and consumption models.
• Ability to influence engineering, architecture, operations and commercial teams.
• Strong customer empathy, communication and execution skills.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience; Australian work eligibility.
Nice to have:
• Managed Slurm, EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift or similar managed platforms.
• GPU-as-a-Service, NVIDIA accelerated computing, multi-tenant or sovereign cloud experience.
• Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, cloud metering or billing integration knowledge.
