Shakewell is a digital agency specialising in technical consultation, custom product development, web and app development, e-commerce, and UX/UI design.

The Role

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to own the relationship between our clients and our delivery team.

This is a client-facing delivery role suited to someone from a digital agency or consulting environment.

Every project we deliver is custom-built, and you’ll manage multiple clients across parallel engagements.

You will be equally comfortable in a client strategy meeting and a technical stand-up.

You will:

• Manage 6–8 clients across project and retainer engagements
• Lead client planning and delivery discussions
• Translate business requirements into clear technical direction
• Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal teams
• Identify risks early and keep delivery on track

This is not a sales-only account management role. You will be expected to understand delivery, clarify requirements, and take ownership of client outcomes.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have worked in a digital agency
• Are comfortable managing multiple clients simultaneously
• Enjoy working across different custom projects in parallel
• Prefer delivery ownership over product roadmap ownership
• Are comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Required Experience

Applicants must have experience working with software delivery teams in an agency environment.

You may have worked as:

• Technical Project Manager
• Digital Delivery Manager
• Technical Account Manager
• Senior Project Manager (Agency)

Experience managing multiple concurrent clients is essential.
