Salsa Digital is looking for a talented Project Manager to join Team Salsa and take ownership of high-profile digital projects across government and enterprise environments.
We're a Melbourne-based digital agency with a 23-year legacy in open source. We help governments become more open, more consolidated and more connected, and we're the exclusive delivery partner for the next generation GovCMS platform.
What you'll be doing
As an Project Manager, you'll be the key interface between our clients and internal delivery teams, ensuring projects are delivered successfully, commercially and with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building genuine, trusted relationships with client stakeholders and project teams.
- Leading the successful delivery of projects within agreed scope, budget and timelines.
- Managing project risks, issues, resources, budgets, scope and competing priorities.
- Driving agile delivery, including backlogs, sprint planning, prioritisation and reporting.
- Facilitating discovery workshops, gathering requirements and translating them into actionable work.
- Working closely with technical teams, business analysts and clients to achieve successful outcomes.
- Supporting business development through delivery expertise and pre-sales engagement.
- Ensuring project teams are aligned, accountable and supported throughout delivery.
What we're looking for
You'll bring:
- 5+ years' experience delivering enterprise-level projects or programs of work.
- Experience working in government and enterprise environments.
- Technical knowledge of Drupal and GovCMS, including identifying technology gaps and managing replatforming risks.
- Strong experience delivering projects using agile methodologies.
- Proven experience in project planning, stakeholder management, risk management and delivery governance.
- Experience managing project scope, budgets, resources and timelines.
- Australian citizenship and an existing or willingness to obtain AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
Nice to have
- Experience using Salsa standard engagement tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack and Google Workspace.
- Experience delivering projects using open-source frameworks such as Drupal and CKAN.
- Content editing, authoring, change management, communications and marketing skills and experience.
