Java Developer - Microservices (Ref:vSwo4)

An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a leading global digital engineering company driving agile and AI-powered transformations. We are looking for a Java Developer - Microservices to join this organization.

Main objectives

Responsible for developing Java-based microservices and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based microservices
• Maintain cloud-based infrastructure
• Fix bugs and write technical documents
• Provide technical support to the production team
• Follow agile methodology
• Understand and troubleshoot large systems
• Identify root causes of issues at the code level
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team

Requirements

• Minimum +1 year of professional experience in Java
• Good understanding of Eclipselink/Hibernate/JPA and Object-relational mapping
• Familiarity with application servers like Glassfish/Payara
• Availability for 24/7 on-call support on a rotation basis
• Experience with Microservices, Spring Boot, J2EE, JDBC, REST, Maven, and JUnit
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Good knowledge of GIT, JIRA, and Swagger

Certifications

• AWS Certification desired
