About the Opportunity:
The organization is a technology-driven software provider supporting community and regional banks with open and flexible technologies across core banking, lending, digital banking, payments, and financial crime prevention. The Technical Product Owner leads the vision, goals, and roadmap for technology products, driving value for customers and stakeholders, and collaborating across business and technical teams.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business teams and customers to shape product strategies, visions, and goals.
• Translate user needs and technical requirements into prioritized roadmaps for Agile development teams.
• Make trade-off decisions between features, quality, and timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communications, issue resolution, and roadmap discussions.
• Own and refine the product backlog, create user stories, set acceptance criteria, and manage story acceptance.
• Lead technology transformation efforts including microservices and API creation for Cloud migration.
• Provide regular updates on build progress, escalate risks, and offer insights to resolve team challenges.
• Attend customer meetings to understand needs and ensure products deliver tangible benefits.
• Informally mentor less experienced Product Owners and support team goal achievement.
• Maintain product management software, influence the SDLC process, and ensure a prioritized backlog.
Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner working with large development teams and APIs/web service technologies.
• 4+ years of experience with SDLC/Agile development.
• 3+ years of experience with roadmap management systems.
• College or university degree or equivalent experience required.
• Preferred certifications: SAFe, Product Manager/Product Owner (e.g., Pragmatic Certified, CPO, CSPO, PSPO), and Cloud certifications (Microsoft Azure preferred).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
