About The Role At Andela, Senior Delivery Managers are responsible for the success of a portfolio of client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery through distributed and remote engineering teams. This role owns the end-to-end delivery of outcome-based AI solutions, with success measured by delivery health, quality, and client outcomes. You will partner closely with senior client stakeholders and internal leaders to shape delivery approaches, manage complex risks, and ensure teams consistently deliver value. Senior Delivery Managers bring strong delivery judgment and operate effectively in ambiguous environments. Beyond execution, they set delivery standards, make critical trade-off decisions, and raise the bar for how we deliver Andela’s AI Solutions Packages: Foundations, Intelligence, and Workflows. What You’ll Be Responsible ForDelivery of AI Solutions Packages (Foundations, Intelligence & Workflows)

• Provide delivery leadership for Andela’s AI Solutions Packages across multiple engagements, aligning business objectives with technical execution.
• Partner with Solutions Architects and engineering leaders to manage risks related to data readiness, infrastructure, security, scalability, and cost.
• Apply delivery judgment in environments where requirements evolve, and learning occurs during execution.
• Select and adapt agile and hybrid delivery approaches based on delivery context, risk, and client outcomes.
• Own delivery success across a portfolio of client engagements, accountable for delivery health, stability, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Make informed trade-off decisions across scope, timeline, quality, and risk to protect delivery outcomes.
• Ensure delivery stability and predictability in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
• Partner closely with Talent Operations to define and execute the right supply strategy, ensuring the right talent is identified, onboarded, and ready at the right time.
• Use delivery data and metrics to inform prioritization, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Senior Client Leadership

• Partner with senior client stakeholders (VP and C-level) as a trusted delivery leader and advisor.
• Guide clients on delivery approach, team structure, execution strategy, and process improvements.
• Translate business objectives into clear delivery goals, success metrics, and execution plans.
• Lead delivery onboarding phases to ensure strong engagement setup and proactive risk mitigation.

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Oversee performance, engagement, and effectiveness of 20-50 engineers across engagements.
• Coach and support team leads and senior contributors, promoting accountability and strong delivery discipline.
• Work closely with Solutions Architecture, Client Success, Account Management, and Talent Operations to align stakeholders around delivery priorities.
• Act as a role model for ownership, collaboration, and delivery excellence.

What We’re Looking ForExperience & Background

• 8+ years of overall experience in software delivery, engineering, or technology consulting.
• 6+ years in senior delivery leadership, programme management, or consulting roles, with ownership of multiple concurrent engagements.
• Demonstrated experience delivering outcome-based engagements.
• Experience leading distributed or remote engineering teams at scale.
• Prior hands-on experience as a software engineer is a strong plus.

AI Solutions Packages Delivery Context

• Experience delivering AI, data, platform, or cloud-based solutions in a consulting or outcome-based delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices and cloud-native environments.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior engineers and architects without being the primary technical decision-maker.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Scrum Master, PMP, or similar certifications are a plus.
