Job Description

Posted on: March 9, 2026

Technical Business Analyst | United Kingdom | Remote | £55,000 - £65,000 We're working with a specialist leader in critical security infrastructure and complex hardware-software integration on this exciting opportunity. You will be at the heart of delivering high-stakes systems involving radar, video analytics, and sensor-based platforms that protect vital environments. This is a high-impact, hands-on role within a multi-disciplinary Agile environment. We are looking for a sharp Technical BA who can bridge the gap between complex architectural requirements and real-world operational needs using tools like Azure DevOps, Figma, and BDD methodologies. The Role

  • Facilitate high-energy workshops with stakeholders and end-users to extract and refine functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate complex business needs into structured User Stories in Azure DevOps with clear, testable Acceptance Criteria using Gherkin/BDD (Given/When/Then).
  • Visualise the future state by producing high-fidelity user journeys, workflows, and wireframes using Figma or Miro.
  • Apply MoSCoW prioritisation within DSDM and Scrum frameworks to ensure the highest value features are delivered in every sprint.
  • Partner closely with Architects and IT teams to align requirements with system infrastructure, networking, and microservices architecture.

What You'll Need

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on complex software or integrated systems (Hardware/Software mix).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Agile delivery, specifically using DSDM and Scrum frameworks to manage backlogs.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for traceability and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) for defining acceptance criteria.
  • Proven background in UX research, including contextual inquiry and the creation of detailed workflow artefacts.
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC level) is essential due to the nature of the projects.

What's On Offer

  • Competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 plus benefits package.
  • Full remote working flexibility with occasional travel for exciting on-site operational trials.
  • The chance to work on cutting-edge tech including RF detection, radar integration, and real-time distributed systems.
  • A collaborative, senior-heavy environment where your technical input directly shapes global security platforms.
