About the Opportunity:
The organization brings together clinicians and technology experts from leading institutions to improve care for patients with polychronic, especially cardiopulmonary, conditions. The purpose of the Data Analyst role is to generate actionable insights and develop operational dashboards that drive data-driven decision-making and enhance patient outcomes by leveraging advanced analytics and technology.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze complex patient data to gain insights into treatment efficacy, patient journeys, and outcomes for polychronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards for stakeholders across clinical, operational, product, and engineering teams.
• Evaluate clinical operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Assess engineering team performance and processes, recommending improvements for technology delivery.
• Collaborate with clinicians, engineers, product managers, and operational leads to define data requirements and communicate findings.
• Design, implement, and manage data warehousing solutions for large-scale data analysis.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and accessibility.
• Use Python and relevant libraries for data manipulation, analysis, automation, and reporting.
• Utilize cloud computing platforms for handling and analyzing large datasets.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across various sources.
• Stay current with healthcare data standards, particularly FHIR.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in healthcare, health tech, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Programming skills in Python, with experience using data analysis libraries like pandas.
• Experience creating dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
• Understanding of business analytics principles and ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly present data to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of FHIR standards.
• Familiarity with polychronic diseases, cardiopulmonary conditions, or respiratory care.
• Experience applying AI and machine learning techniques.
• Experience in a startup or agile development environment.
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant field.
