Director of Engineering,

PDM is seeking an experienced, hands-on engineering leader to join as Director of Engineering – Customer Solutions. This individual will bridge the gap between engineering, sales, and project development, bringing transformer and power system expertise to our customers’ project needs. You will be instrumental in supporting solution development, optimizing transformer applications for power generation projects, and driving adoption of PDM products by working directly with client engineers and internal stakeholders. 

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (multi-state preferred) 
• 10+ years of experience in utility-scale engineering, power generation, or transformer design/application 
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder technical negotiations (utilities, regulators, developers) 
• Deep understanding of grid interconnection, load profiles, cogeneration plants, and transformer lifecycle 
• Strong project management skills—can lead multimillion-dollar engineering projects from concept through commissioning 
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, and customer success 
• Strong communicator with ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences
