Technical Product Manager | Data Products
£60,000 to £90,000 | Fully Remote | Northern Ireland
I'm working with an established international technology company looking to hire a Technical Product Manager to take ownership of one of its core data products.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex data problems and wants genuine ownership over product strategy, technical direction and delivery.
The business operates at scale, processing and managing large volumes of data that support a range of products and services.
The opportunity
This is a senior individual contributor role where you will work closely with engineering, data science and other product teams to develop and improve a business-critical data platform.
You won't simply be managing a backlog. You'll have a significant say in how the product evolves, what gets prioritised and how the underlying data capabilities are developed.
What you'll be doing
- Own the strategy, roadmap and delivery of a core data product.
- Work closely with engineering and data science teams on complex technical challenges.
- Define requirements around data collection, processing, quality and enrichment.
- Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy, coverage and commercial value of large datasets.
- Help shape how data is structured and made available across different products and systems.
- Balance technical feasibility, business priorities and long-term product development.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally working with technical or data-heavy products.
- Experience managing products involving large-scale datasets or complex data processing.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively with engineering and data science teams.
- Experience translating complex technical requirements into clear product priorities.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of data pipelines, data enrichment or distributed data systems.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning or other advanced data processing technologies.
- Experience with data integration, data quality or entity resolution.
- Background in a data-intensive SaaS or enterprise software environment.
Why consider it?
- £60,000 to £90,000 depending on experience.
- Fully remote within Northern Ireland.
- Ownership of a business-critical product rather than a small feature set.
- Opportunity to influence technical and product strategy.
- Work alongside experienced engineering and data science teams on genuinely complex problems.
If you're a technically strong Product Manager who enjoys getting into the detail of how data products are built and scaled, I'd be interested in having a conversation.
