Frontend Developer

Frontend React/Next.js ContractorRemote but must be based in UK3-6 months initially

We are supporting a rapidly growing technology company building an AI-driven platform for complex, data-heavy workflows. Backed by recent early-stage investment, the team moves quickly and ships product at pace.

The Role

Seeking an experienced Front-End React/Next.js contractor to accelerate delivery of core product features. You’ll take ownership of key UI areas and work closely with design and engineering teams to build intelligent, AI-enhanced interfaces, including natural-language search and agent-like workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality, performant UI with React and Next.js
• Develop interfaces for LLM-powered search, agents, and analytics
• Create intuitive workflows for AI-driven results and suggestions
• Integrate frontend components with APIs and data systems
• Deliver rapid iterations, new features, and UI refinements

Requirements

• 3+ years commercial front-end experience
• Strong React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Experience with reusable UI patterns and API integration
• Able to work independently and deliver quickly
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Portfolio of React work
• Experience with chat-style or AI assistant UIs
• Data visualisation or dashboard experience
• Basic backend understanding
