Role Description

This is a remote, contract-based position for a Full stack / Frontend Developer. You will be responsible for creating user-facing web applications, ensuring responsive web design, and working closely in a cross-functional team to deliver an exceptional user experience. Your tasks will include migrating current functionality to a new platform, basic changes to our Ruby on Rails backend & collaborating with backend developers to integrate APIs, and optimizing applications for speed and scalability.

Although this is a remote job, you must be either based in Helsinki, Finland for random on-site work or have native Finnish language capability to ensure fluent communication.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Front-End Development using React, Tailwind & NextJS
• Experience with Back-End Web Development and Web Development concepts
• Ruby on Rails experience considered a big plus
• Knowledge of Software Development best practices and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Experience with outdoor or e-commerce platforms is a plus
• Finnish language not necessary, but definitely a big plus
