You'll be part of the execution engine behind Needle's paid campaigns.

Every brand on Needle is supported by:

  • An Account Strategy Manager - the human in the loop for strategy — setting direction, defining what to test, and making the judgment calls that keep brands growing.
  • A Campaign Manager - the human in the loop for execution and performance — the person who takes a strategic direction and makes it work in the real world. Not just running campaigns, but reading signals, surfacing learnings, and bringing the on-the-ground judgment that shapes what gets tested next alongside the Account Strategy Manager.

This role is for an Account Strategy Manager.

What you'll be doing

  • Own growth strategy for 10–15 client accounts: budget allocation, messaging, creative priorities, testing roadmap, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate business goals into creative direction: define content pillars, campaign focus, and strategic briefs that guide concept generation.
  • Review and elevate creatives before delivery: ensure they are strategically sound, platform-native, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Analyze performance and identify learnings: review trends, extract insights, and adjust strategy based on results.
  • Lead client communication: explain recommendations, manage expectations, and build trust through clear strategic guidance.
  • Coordinate execution across teams and systems: Ensure strategy is translated into high-quality deliverables and outcomes.

Who you are

We're looking for a strategic operator with brand intuition… someone who's led marketing for a DTC brand or driven growth at a top-tier agency for multiple e-commerce brands, and now wants to multiply their impact across multiple brands.

Qualifications & experience

  • 5-7 years in growth marketing or brand strategy, ideally as a Marketing Lead/Head at a DTC brand, or Senior Strategist at a performance or creative agency
  • Deep strategic fluency: You instinctively connect value prop to differentiation to customer psychology to channel strategy. You know what drives growth before the data proves it
  • Brand intuition: You can sense when a campaign feels off-brand or premium, rushed or intentional. You understand how to build long-term desire, not just short-term clicks
  • Performance marketing chops: You've directed paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok. You speak the language of ROAS, LTV, creative testing, and media mix
  • Cultural awareness: You understand what's resonant right now in different verticals (wellness, fashion, CPG). You move with the times, not behind them
  • AI-powered mindset: You're excited to leverage AI for execution while you focus on strategy. You refine prompts, guide outputs, and elevate quality… not just micromanage pixels
  • Client communication: You build trust with brand founders and their marketers. You're the steady hand that makes them feel understood and challenged, not just serviced
  • Location flexibility: LA/West Coast, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur (remote-first). If you're where we have team members, we co-work 1 day/week.

Who won't be a fit

  • Someone who's never led growth strategy for DTC brands or doesn't understand performance marketing
  • Someone who needs to be in the weeds of execution (building calendars, writing copy, resizing ads)
  • Someone who can't adapt to AI-powered workflows or is resistant to new tools
  • Someone who lacks brand intuition and relies purely on data without strategic or creative instinct
