Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and analytically driven Product Owner to lead the development and transformation of data assets supporting Credit, Lending, Regulatory initiatives within a global wholesale banking environment. This role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making, improving risk management, and enhancing operational efficiency across the credit lifecycle. You will work at the intersection of business, data, and technology—defining and delivering data strategies that support credit and lending processes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, actionable insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the change roadmap for credit and lending data initiatives within an Agile POD, managing backlog prioritization and delivery timelines.
  • Translate business needs into data asset prototypes and analytical solutions, working closely with stakeholders to define requirements and success metrics.
  • Design and support the development of robust data pipelines and transformation logic for operational and analytical use cases.
  • Apply advanced analytics to improve data quality, completeness, and consistency, particularly in remediation efforts.
  • Ensure alignment with data governance, risk management, and architectural standards.
  • Champion the consistent use of credit data definitions and ensure proper documentation and application across systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on big data technologies and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with business lines, risk, finance, and technology teams to ensure data availability and usability.
  • Support root cause analysis and resolution of data-related issues.
  • Oversee the transition of data assets into production and ensure successful adoption and integration.

Your ProfileExperience & Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience in Credit & Lending, ideally in a data, analytics, or technology-focused role
  • Strong understanding of credit lifecycle processes and regulatory frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)
  • Proven track record in delivering data products and managing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Familiarity with credit models (regulatory, pricing, decisioning) and their application in lending

Skills & Capabilities

  • Agile product ownership and backlog management (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Data analysis, modeling, and transformation expertise
  • Ability to work across virtual teams and global environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Certifications in data, analytics, or risk management
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and development
