POS-11308Senior Business Systems Analyst – BuyingAbout The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with expertise in the CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) lifecycle and a passion for streamlining systems. This BSA will be a strategic partner to other BSAs and Buying product teams, focusing on scaling and improving our internal quoting processes. You will drive insights, efficiency, and operational excellence in this domain, ensuring an exceptional user experience and system reliability. Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for our quoting and proposal related systems (i.e. our internal quoting tool, approvals, legal terms, checkout).
  • Proactively highlight rising issues in our system and frequent pain points end users experience.
  • Serve as a critical member of cross functional initiatives to build out strategic improvements to our CPQ systems.
  • Analyze and optimize business processes using data; identify pain points, root causes, and scalable solutions for both internal ticketing support and product improvement.
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable tasks/roadmaps for technical teams; document thoroughly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement, test, and document integrations, enhancements, or new features, ensuring seamless data flow and operational consistency.
  • Respond to and resolve issues related to our quoting and buying tools.
  • Use data and impact metrics (including SQL/Looker or similar tools) to measure success and drive decision-making.
  • Act as a communication bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration across teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with your BSA team (who align to different domains within Fintech) and individual Buying product teams to streamline our internal Quoting and Buying motions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Deal Desk) to communicate insights into how to optimize our support processes and product reliability.
  • Act as an expert in comprehensive/complex system use cases, perform user acceptance testing and training for stakeholders as needed.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues spanning quoting, approvals, legal and checkout processes; identifying root causes and implementing improvements.
  • Facilitate data-driven decision making by surfacing insights from key operational, ticketing, and stakeholder input.
  • Proactively communicate status, risks, and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, or rapidly changing environments.
  • Effective collaborator and communicator—able to translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa.
  • Customer and process obsessed; relentless about efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Strong sense of ownership, resourcefulness, and detail orientation.
  • Passion for solving complex systems challenges, especially in CPQ domains.
  • Technical skills (SQL, data analysis tools, understanding APIs/integrations) and comfort learning new software.
  • Experience in AI and automation is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, including hands-on experience with both billing/payments platforms and global tax/compliance solutions.
  • Experience in Fintech and/or Quoting systems.
  • Solid understanding of quote/proposal lifecycle.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Looker, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in documentation and process mapping.
  • Adaptability, proactive mindset, and empathy for both customers and internal users.
  • Proficiency in Workato or comparable automation platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fintech experience.
  • Experience navigating ambiguous, evolving requirements or regulatory changes.
  • Technical acumen; familiarity with APIs and system integrations.
  • Advanced skills in troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and cross-functional project management.
