Technical Program Manager – Coatings & Inks

Work Mode: Europe - Permanent Remote Experience Required:10 - 15 Years Compensation: USD 70000 - 80000 Industry: Chemicals/Fertilizers/Polymer/Plastic/Rubber About The Client We are hiring on behalf of a global specialty chemicals organization focused on advanced carbon black solutions used in coatings, inks, plastics, rubber, and industrial applications. Role Overview The Global Technical Services Leader – Carbon Black (Inks, Paints & Coatings) will lead the global technical services function, focusing on application development, product qualification, and customer technical support. Key Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for carbon black applications in inks and coatings
• Provide guidance on dispersion, rheology, gloss, undertone, and formulation performance
• Support customer trials, product qualification, and scale-up activities
• Translate customer requirements into product and R&D roadmaps
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, and Manufacturing teams on product improvements
• Lead technical issue resolution and root cause analysis
• Represent the organization in technical discussions and industry events
• Build and mentor a global technical services team

Must-Have Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering
• 10+ years experience in carbon black for inks and/or coatings
• Strong knowledge of dispersion science, rheology, and application testing
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles in specialty chemicals
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent German and English.
