Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Front-end Developer to join our team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing responsive and interactive web applications using React, JavaScript/ES6, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
The candidate will work closely with designers, backend developers, and cross-functional teams to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, scalable web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement responsive user interfaces for web applications using React, ES6/JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and cross-functional teams to translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive and interactive web pages.
- Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable front-end components.
- Optimize web applications for speed, performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide development recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, usability, and browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Integrate web applications with Content Management Systems (CMS) and third-party APIs.
- Identify and resolve front-end issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Front-end Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- React
- JavaScript / ES6
- jQuery
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers such as Webpack and npm.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
