Job Title: Technical Project Manager – BI & Data Platform Migration (Remote)Overview

We are seeking a fully remote Technical Project Manager to lead a high-impact BI reporting transformation and data platform migration initiative within a healthcare provider environment. This role will be responsible for driving the transition from Tableau to Power BI while overseeing a broader data platform modernization effort. The ideal candidate is a hands-on PM with strong technical acumen, capable of navigating ambiguity and operating effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a BI transformation initiative, with primary focus on migrating reporting from Tableau to Power BI
• Drive execution of a large-scale data platform migration, ensuring alignment across data, reporting, and infrastructure workstreams
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent IT initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, analytics, and clinical/operational stakeholders
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive-level updates
• Proactively identify risks, resolve blockers, and maintain project momentum in a resource-constrained environment
• Balance approximately 50% focus on BI/data initiatives and 50% on broader IT project delivery

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading BI/reporting migrations, specifically Tableau to Power BI
• Demonstrated success managing data platform migration projects in a healthcare provider setting (not payer)
• Prior experience working with Epic in a healthcare environment
• Strong generalist Project Manager with hands-on delivery experience across technical IT projects
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and drive clarity
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including navigating challenging conversations
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and complex dependencies

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management training
• Background in healthcare IT, data warehousing, or data architecture
• Experience working in lean or rapidly evolving organizational structures
