Job Description An employer is looking for a highly skilled Community & State Product Owner / Business Analyst to represent the voice of the business by performing research, design, and development and translating complex business requirements into actionable features and user stories for changes to the community & state claims systems. This is a cross-functional role that reviews requirements and performance against expectations and coordinates, facilitates, or influences changes to the product to achieve optimal performance. In this role you’ll join a shared services team, and work with internal and external business partners to recommend future direction, respond to inquiries, and ensure alignment to business goals regarding high priority projects that you’ll be assigned based on need. Primary Responsibilities

  • Document and translate business requirements from capabilities into features and user stories.
  • Capture, analyze, organize, and prioritize the product backlog, including features, user stories and acceptance criteria for complex initiatives.
  • Serve as the 'voice of the customer' with delivery teams, representing/reinforcing the customer's perspective throughout the agile development
  • Ensure the product aligns with the customer's needs.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, business analysts, developers, testers, and others to develop and execute against Product Roadmaps and Release Plans.
  • Provide explanations and information to Agile teams, stakeholders, managers.
  • Prepare and present information to leadership for next steps and decision making.
  • Provide weekly status updates to leadership.
  • Promote and drive an agile development approach through the work and teams.
  • Lead, build and maintain a backlog/inventory of system and business requirements to quickly react to additional enhancement capacity.
  • Provide direction to business/capability/product analysts and scrum team members to ensure the highest value is delivered.
  • Manage, prioritize, and assess the impact of defects and issues, including providing key input on the decisions to fix or defer.

Skills And Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience as a Product Owner working in an Agile software development environment.
  • A basic understanding of Healthcare/Medicare
  • Experience with the Rally Agile Development Tool
  • Experience with implementing software from ideation / requirements through to successful delivery
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Experience in evaluating capabilities and translating the business requirements documented
  • Facilitating meetings and presenting documented requirements and complex concepts with clients / customers
  • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience collaborating with business partners in a matrix organization
  • Experience working directly with senior level business stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences
  • Prior experience working with CSP Facets
