Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Shopify Developer. The Shopify Developer will build, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, including themes, templates, and apps to create websites that reflect client brands and business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive designs, optimizing site performance, configuring payment, shipping, and checkout settings, and ensuring a smooth user experience across devices. The role involves collaborating with designers, content specialists, and project managers, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting ongoing enhancements and integrations. The Shopify Developer will also contribute to best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement of development workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify platform, including theme development, Liquid templating, and app configuration.
- Strong front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
- Knowledge of eCommerce best practices, including UX for online stores, product catalog setup, and conversion optimization.
- Familiarity with APIs, third-party integrations, and basic version control (e.g., Git).
- Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver clean, maintainable code.
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience with Shopify Plus, headless commerce, or other eCommerce platforms is a plus
