Product Owner

The ideal candidate has experience working as a Technical Product Owner on a Platform Modernization initiative.

Responsibilities

Day to Day:

• Will work with stakeholders gather requirements prioritizing backlog prioritize and organize value. Works closely with Scrum Master on the team.
• Deeply technical product owner. Work closely with lead engineers – good analysts know how do API’s work, how do microservices work.
• What are dependencies that make platforms work? Will be working closely with the data team as well.
• Capabilities team – building new services building event hub. Platform enables everything else. 10 engineers, Scrum Master, QA’s.
• Project they will be mainly focused on – “Platform Modernization” - moving from microservice platform to modular platform. All apps will talk to this platform.
• Stakeholders – could be another engineering team, could be UX designer who are trying to build a feature. What data do you need to drive that? Work closely with lead engineer and architect on the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Technical Product Owner with the below:
• Ability to write great technical stories for developers
• Experience with a platform modernization project similar to what they are trying to accomplish
