A well-established organisation known for excellence in the facilities management sector is looking for a Data Engineer. This role focuses on maintaining existing data processes and ETLs while contributing to strategic roadmap projects and end-to-end pipeline ownership. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic team to automate data workflows and deliver high-quality data solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Develop high-performance data pipelines using Python or Spark within Palantir Foundry to support analytics and machine learning.

• Design and implement scalable, well-documented data workflows that enable actionable business insights and strategic decision-making.

• Lead workshops with stakeholders to capture data requirements and translate them into flexible designs using Palantir Foundry toolsets.

• Monitor and optimise data processes to ensure the availability, performance, and integrity of all data services within the platform.

• Manage day-to-day BAU tasks to maintain existing ETLs while simultaneously driving innovation through automation.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in building and optimising data pipelines and transformations specifically within Palantir Foundry.

• Strong programming proficiency at an advanced level in Python, PySpark, and SQL scripting for data manipulation.

• Proven experience in end-to-end ownership of data pipelines and the automation of complex data workflows.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and present platform capabilities to diverse stakeholders.

• Must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for security vetting if required.
