We’re working with a Romania-based consultancy supporting a leading insurance client on a major cloud data transformation.

They’re looking for a Databricks Data Engineer to join a long-term programme (12 months + strong extension potential) focused on building a modern Azure-based lakehouse platform.

🔧 What you’ll do

• Build and optimise data pipelines in Databricks
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions in Azure Cloud
• Work on large-scale data across policy, claims & finance
• Support real-time & batch analytics use cases

🧠 What we’re looking for

• Strong Databricks & Apache Spark experience
• Python and/or Scala + strong SQL
• Experience building scalable data pipelines
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP also considered)

🌟 Nice to have

• Insurance / Financial Services experience
• Delta Lake / Lakehouse knowledge
