Senior Product Manager

This role can be based on the East Coast of Australia or the West Coast of the US/Canada with remote first working.__We are hiring for 3 roles but you only need to apply once and your application will be reviewed for all 3, you have space to communicate a preference for any particular role in the application form.

Fleet Space is revolutionising how the world discovers critical minerals and we're looking for Senior Product Managers across 3 separate product portfolios; AI, Geology and Operations. Product Managers at Fleet guide our products through every stage of their lifecycle: from understanding customer needs, to defining product roadmaps and releases, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure those products are built at pace and deliver value to customers. As leaders in our product development teams, they build a shared understanding of the right product to build next for customers, and rally teams together to deliver those products to the world.

Each role will report into our CTPO where you will collaborate on defining roadmaps and releases and then overseeing the cross-functional delivery to ensure our products are built at pace and deliver outstanding value to our customers.

What You'll Do

Each role has a different Product focus but each share the same responsibilities:

• Lead product discovery, user research, and market research efforts to build a deep understanding of customer needs, informing product strategy and roadmaps for your product areas
• Articulate a vision for your product areas that is ambitious, data-driven, clear, and compelling
• Scope and define the iterative roadmap of new product releases, including specification of product features and requirements, and collaboratively developing architecture and design
• Ship new products at a market-leading pace by rallying teams together partnering with Technical Program Management, Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful design and delivery of our products, adapting product scope and resolving blockers as needed along the way
• Prioritize scope and make good trade-off decisions to keep development moving forward rapidly in the right direction for customer and business impact
• Measure impact and collect customer feedback on new product releases, to inform new product iterations that rapidly improve our offering

What we are looking for

• 3 + years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping successful B2B products
• Experienced in Startup or Scale up Product environments with either AI, Geoscience or Data Analytics heavy platforms
• Able and willing to travel globally to meet with our customers and develop and deep understanding of their needs
• Ability to translate highly technical concepts into clear product requirements and customer value propositions
• Experience working with technical teams (data science, engineering, ML) on complex, data-driven products
• Strong commercial acumen and experience partnering with enterprise sales teams
• You learn fast about new businesses and technologies, and you know how to get deep quickly on highly complex topics around your products
• You take a customer-centric approach, with proven ability to deeply understand customer needs, use these insights to shape products, garner feedback, and delight customers
• You combine technical fluency and business acumen, able to engage quickly on deeply technical topics, then simplify and translate these into an understanding of the business case for a product release and specific features
• You are an exceptional and artful communicator, who can be relied upon to articulate a detailed, logical, and compelling vision for a product across many different formats (strategy documents, roadmaps, PRDs, slide presentations, conferences, technical discussions) and audiences (customers, developers, cross-functional partners, executives, Board members, investors)
• You are an excellent collaborator, working directly with engineering, science, and design teams to ship delightful products in a highly technical product space
• You build great relationships and influence without authority at all levels of the organization, to rally teams to build great new products
• You are a passionate and inspirational leader, who makes teams excited about what they are building and enjoy working together
• You move fast and have high standards of speed and agility in shipping new products to scale the impact of our company – and you always deliver
