Director of Engineering (Software Consultancy)

We are seeking a Director of Engineering with a strong technical background and strategic mindset to lead high-performing teams in the technology consulting space. This person will be responsible for both project delivery and account growth (farming), acting as a trusted technical and business partner to national and international clients.

The role combines technical leadership, people management, and business development, being the owner of proposals and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical and operational strategy for assigned accounts, ensuring quality and business value in all deliveries.
• Drive farming initiatives: identify new opportunities, craft innovative proposals, and foster sustainable account growth.
• Supervise and coordinate teams of 40–60 professionals, including managers and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Ensure excellence in project delivery across Cloud, AI, Big Data, and Microsoft technologies (Azure, .NET, etc.).
• Play an active role in the definition and presentation of client proposals, acting as the main technical and business point of contact.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and continuous improvement.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and strategic alignment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology environments, with at least 5 years leading large engineering or delivery teams.
• Proven background in technology consulting (mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience in account farming and growth, not only project delivery.
• Strong technical expertise in web technologies and Microsoft ecosystems, combined with knowledge of Cloud, AI, and Big Data.
• Experience managing complex projects and international clients.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
