Senior Developer (Node.js)

We are looking for a Senior Node Developer for a remote project based in Portugal.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Node.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with frameworks such as Express.js
• Familiarity with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Experience with Git and agile development practices
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with microservices architecture
