Senior Content Marketer - Job Post About cside: cside is solving web security, starting with browser side injections. About the role: The content marketer at cside amplifies our storytelling across channels to educate the market and turn cside into the first name that comes to mind when people think of “client-side security”. This role requires in depth understanding of our product space and the security industry. Our founder and internal experts already contribute to our marketing efforts so you’ll have strong source material to shape into authoritative content. You’ll be the hands-on owner of our content engine. That means creating assets across social and search that capture attention and pull our target audience into our orbit. We have subject matter experts with unique perspectives, you’ll translate their voice into writing & content that lands in the right feeds. Your scoreboard is simple: Help us rank higher on search and gain more visibility on social + forums. The KPIs: traffic, leads, and sales opportunities. What you will do:
- Craft technical value‑first narratives that resonate with security engineers & compliance leads
- Writing. Lots of writing. Content for our various channels; blog posts, newsletters, social media, podcast, press releases, website copy, sales collateral... Get the message out!
- Optimize blogs for SEO & AI search. Design social posts in high performing formats.
- Syndicate content on forums like Reddit and niche communities. Keep an eye out for forum conversations that we should be a part of.
- Plan and manage our editorial calendar, make the content engine run smoothly.
- Maintain a strong content-market fit. Listen to customer calls, do competitor research, and understand our industry to ensure our content is relevant & insightful.
- This role is mostly focused on written content - but it will be a big plus if you have experience (or want to learn) short form or long form video, design, print, or any other medium.
- Suggest winning tactics or creative angles to help us stand out.
- Together with our growth marketer & sales team, your work will increase our pipeline (traffic, leads) and improve our lifecycle conversion.
About you:
- 3+ years driving content for B2B SaaS (security or developer tooling preferred) with a clear track record of pipeline and revenue impact
- Have a portfolio of past content that you owned from end-to-end
- Your writing has flavor. It makes people want to keep reading. You’re a polyglot that can shift gears between a social post, long form article, and video script.
- You know what’s working on social and search right now because you’re in communities, following influencers, and experimenting yourself.
- Able to translate complex technical concepts into a digestible format.
- Experience with analytics tools like SemRush, Posthog, Google Analytics etc..
- Preferred: basic experience with design tools like Figma, Canva.
- Preferred: experience creating content for cybersecurity or dev tools.
- Creative, happy to think outside of the box to make us stand out.
- Autonomous: You'll own your domain and define how we grow.
- Passion for web security and belief in cside's mission to protect developers and users.
